What is a future creating curriculum?
December 19, 2007 by gaildyer
To develop such a curriculum is neither difficult nor time consumming. The role of the teacher is of utmost importance; not as the fount of knowledge but as the listener, the guide, the facilitator, the skills’ expert.
It is the teacher’s role to focus on students learning how to learn. Teachers have many skills that enable us to achieve this; the school is committed to supporting and providing all staff with any additional skills they may feel they need to achieve the goal of creating the path to the future.

Mikhaila,
you, the students are the future. You are incredibly important people and we need to think of new and different ways to help you learn, see the point in what you are learning and above all prepare you to live in the world of the future.
